Looking for some insight on replacing a drivers side power mirror on an '02
Focus SE. The Chilton's manual procedure looks pretty straight forward but
would like to know if there are any "gotchas" before I attempt.
Also found some web prices in the $48.00 range, is this average?

One more, what does the (w/o SVT) mean regarding the mirror description?

One thing to watch for is that most manuals show a clip holding the front edge of the mirror in place- the NA Focus was changed and a screw holds the front of the mirror in place- you can see this screw with the door open- it is towards the front edge of the mirror sail panel.

The w/o SVT refers to the standard non-folding, black pebbled finished mirror. The SVT has folding, smooth black finish with a body color painted panel.
