: JRSC SVTF Back Pressure/Boost/HP

All this summer I was running my JRSC on my SVTF with a cat delete and it was hitting about 5-6 psi. But now I just put back on my CAT for my E-test and my boost is hitting around 7-8 psi not only is there more boost but the supercharger is alot louder.

Could this be because of the increased back pressure? or am I actually producing more power because of the new back pressure? It is weird I dont really know if there is more power it feels really good though and the car is running amaizing with the CAT back on. But isnt it the less resistance the more power?

someone help me out on this thanks

You probably picked up some tq and lost some hp.

I think your hearing the s/c more because your exhaust is quieter [;)]

due to the increased back pressure, i dont feel like i have lost power but I feel like I might have gained a little but im not 100% sure

On something like that a dyno would be the only real way to tell , I would say the free flowing Exh woul be the best , Back psi does not allways reflect true boost psi
