i was wondering if you could put a turbo on a v-6 but only on one exhaust manifold and run the other side normally aspirated. dont plan on doing it just wondering what would happen. i think this mite have been done on diesels before but not sure about gas.

also i have a friend that has a turbo dsm and says he wants to plumb an air line into his exhaust manifold before the turbo with a quick valve connected to a toggle too shoot compressed air through the turbo to spool it up fast. would this even be possible? it would probably need some sort of resistor wired up that you could turn on to fool it into thinking the o2 sensor is sending a normal signal. just a half cracked crazy idea. possible? let me know what you think.

I've never payed attention to how a V6 turbo manifold works but I assume it's like a V8 and the exhaust from both sides conects to the turbo and some have one small turbo on each side

On the other part I've never heard of it being done but maybee somhow it could but I think hooking up No2 would be simpeler and more productive
