No, it was just a converted one im sure, they never made a white one, its a shame too, that would have a great color.

Probably just the kit & wheels combo. I've seen a few of those on the road. It would be interesting if someone had converted (painted) an authentic SVTF to white although I will never understand why.

I will second that. The Lightning and Cobra were both available in white, not sure about the Contour, and not sure why SVT didn't offer the SVTF in white (or Liquid Grey!!!)

Sorry for taking forever to get back to this. I've been stupid busy with work & work travel. Re the responses so far:

1. I WISH I had taken a picture...but I didn't have my cell phone with me. I was just out for a stroll on a nice evening....smoking a cigar.........the last thing I wanted was to be yapping on the phone so I left it in the hotel room.

2. Sure was an SVT??? Nope, just had SVT wheels and the SVT badge. Nothing to have stopped someone from getting their hands on both and placing them on a "regular" focus. Not sure why anyone would bother doing that but it takes all kinds in this world I suppose.

3. Sure it was white??? I really thought so. It was getting dark. I suppose it could have been silver although I doubt it. One response mentioned that it was likely someone who painted their SVT white. If so, it was REALLY done well. But, then again, if you where going to replace the front & back bumpers with something customized (that's what caught my eye in the first place) you just take the stock parts off, paint, then install the replacements.

Oh well, I'm going to be traveling back and forth to Charlotte for a while. Guess I just need to keep my eyes open.

Thanks again to all who responded!!

Cheers,

did it have the SVT bumpers also? because there ARE a couple dealerships i've seen around here that sell regular zx3's with SVT wheels just to catch the eyes of buyers, seen 4 or 5 all the time, maybe a dealer threw wheels and badges on there? j/w...

The front & back bumper area was customized. That's what drew my attention. It was only AFTER noticing that when I saw the SVT wheels & badge. I thought maybe it was something that came out of Tom's shop. I think he's near Charlotte.

Dunno......one of life's little mysteries, I suppose....
