I was just wondering if any of you peeps knew anything about this add on. I was also wondering how much it costs since there is no price listing. I Just tried calling new edge and i get there answering service. THanks...
Shooot, tons of Great Laker's test drove the PowerWorks cars and let me tell you! That kit is so worth it. OMG, those cars are freaking awesome.
I myself got sold on the ATX kit.
I loved the cars and they make a huge differrence.
Here is there website and look for another distributor:
I got a price of $4,760 and someone at the show told me they are now financing. Which is cool too. Good luck.

I own the powerworks kit, and it's well worth the asking price. Puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive the thing.

i drove the powerworks car the white one, first of all NOT 1 car had a dyno sheet attached to it...
the white car that ran a 13.7 i beleive did NOT feel faster than my focus, i never raced my focus but just from the kick i felt that my car was a tad bit stronger, how they claim 260 hp at the wheel on the white car i dont know??? i didnt feel like a 260hp car.
ok now the bottom end power on that car is SICK! it has globs of power for acceleration, the low end power felt BETTER than my turbo, but when i got crackin on the white pw car the top end felt very slugish compaired to the low end. i dont know if thats the way the supercharger feels on all setups but i like my
Turbo Lag for traction
High end for action lol
i will say i did have a fun time beating the piss outta the pw car. the guy was like "yo slow down" hahahaha im sorry i was having too much fun
i did like the pw kit i would consider gettin one if i didnt turbo my focus, the end cost will still be the same as what i paid for on my car.

oooo they got a atx s/c coming out...CKA how was it, and do you have any other information on this. But of course i guess its not that big of a deal, b/c ud probably still have to shove the 3k+ bucks anyway to upgrade the atx tranny anyway.....which makes me sad.....why oh why couldnt the tranny be better ford.
I know that I loved it.
But anyway this is the info I remember.
200hp? About. All stock. ATX.
Comes with the supercharger, tb, every wiring harness and intake.
You send your computer to them so they program it and it's pre-tuned.
Just install, you can do it yourself.
I thought it was so worth it, plus these guys have tested them and everything.
They have another ATX with the same set-up and that one is up 60k miles, and no problems whatsoever.
I am hooked for sure.
If you add any other engine components they said your fine and yes a LenTech tranny is a great addition, but not needed.
So that's what I know.
I loved it.

well that is interesting but i dont see how you can get it and not have to get any tranny upgrades. The stock ones only rated to 130ft/lbs per torque at the wheels, and you can probably squeeze by with 140 but any more then that i think the tranny would knock out after a while. I would be happy with a jrsc, but i figured id probably have to up the tranny with that on too. But hey if Powerworks found some secret out and you dont have too, thats pretty awesome, especially if they can squeeze out 200horses. Now when you say computer do you mean the stock one, or does it come with a SCT chip like the manual tranny one does?
I beleive the stock computer? I have to re-talk to the guys. They are really cool, you can go to their website and email them too.
I bet I got the hp wrong too. I was just too excited.
But yeah, for sure it was stock with that SC on.

I drove the kit and liked it a great deal. If you got Tony's answering service at Newedge just try him again. He is great to deal with.

^^^ YES! Me too!
Anybody wanna buy a soul? Only slighty used? lol
I talked to these guys at Ford Carlisle for a while and they were really awesome. Didn't get to drive the white car (my own damned fault for taking the girlfriend at the time with me . . .) but plenty of people that I've talked to have driven it and were VERY pleased! The main reason I'm holding off for right now (well, besides the money issue...), is that the guy said that it's a different casting for the exhaust manifold between the MTX and ATX models and I'm still deciding whether or not I want to switch to a MTX. But when I DO decide to go F/I . . . it's gonna be the Powerworks kit.
