i want to turbo my car after i get farther along and i just have some questions about turbo kits. which one is the best bang for the buck? performance wise which one is best? which one is the safest and most reliable. i want the focus power kit but i cant afford it and i don't see being able to afford it anytime soon. i could afford about 3500 prolly sometime soon. i was looking at the Gude kit and the roush kit. those two look pretty comparable. is it safe to boost on a motor with 69k? how sturdy are the lower ends of these motors?

Focus-power stage 1 kit with there mic should cost about $3500 or close to it. Good for 200hp hat's what I'd do

precision is a very nice alternative to toms kit if you dont have the money. you can get a bunch of upgrades added to the setup and still be under the cost of toms kit.....you can order the precision kit with a GT28r, a really fast spooling ball bearing turbo which is quickly becomeing the most popular turbo for our engines...i would go that route if it was me, or build my own

build my own is another option. where could i get a manifold? who else has built their own turbo kit? so i can contact them.

i am b uilding my own now. you can get a lot of different manifolds im doing a jgs weld up kit

I would go with the Focus-Power stage one kit, its alot easier than a DYI AND alot cheaper in the long run.

well if you do it right DIY is a lot cheaper and you can far surpass kits. ive helped build DIY turbos for saturns. we have one that ran for 100k on stock internals at 7PSI. so tuning is the biggest thing. i plan on being very very safe with this turbo kit.
