Expect minimal noise insulation, lightweight race-style seats, a quick-shifting six-speed manual transmission and suspension and braking components directly inspired by Ford's WRC Focus cars.
I'm glad they have a true car guy running the new Team RS, and not some marketing-type. Too bad it's not slated for this market. [:(]

Its not one person to blame about the US not getting the good stuff. Think of it this way... what is the market for a car like that?
Just us...maybe a few others right?
But then think of this...how many of us can really afford it?
Probably %10 of us, if that. It's not in the company's best interest to bring bad ass cars like that to North America. Ford is losing enough money, and i'm sure they don't want to make it worse on a gamble.

Sorry for the double post. I just got my Auto Express newsletter this morning and posted. Guess they didn't have a scoop. [:o)]
Why do I get the feeling like we in the States are always eating the Focus crumbs that fall off the designers table while the Euros have an invitation to the banquet. [?|]
