My car has 70,000 miles, is this to many to think about FI? How many miles do you guys have on yours?

No not really, as long as the top end is in good shape.. Oil changes and such. That is not alot of miles on a modern car. If you were concerned with it you could do a compression test or even better a leak down and see what shape the cylinders are in. What kind of Fi you have in mind?

well it will be well broken in, any weak part will already have shown itself..Mine had 1500mi when It went to Tom's. Besides what's the worst that can happen?? You break a piston/ ring with 70K instead of 5K...

^^^ Agreed. You should be just fine with that kit. Go for it if you like. I don't think the milage is too high..

also it depends on the millage, it may spend most of its time doing motorway miles. 70k motorway millage is as good as 30k urban.

what about the roush turbo kit, would that be too much power, plus would the trans. handle all that torque? it's a 5-speed.

what type of torque can the stock 5-speed trans. hold?

ive known ppl to damage the box around 300Ft Lbs at the fly but then Tom is running a 11sec 1/4 on the standard transmission, its all about how you treat it.

so if you got a LSD and kept the stock clutch with the jrsc bbk, do you think you'd be fine?
