This would be the only picture I took during the 1.5 hr install of the boost upgrade kit. Two days later i had my ECU back from Ford. All together now and i couldnt be happier.

Hey, is your car AC-equipped ?

Did you use the supplied bbk belt ?

So, did you hammer the stock pully off ?

Did you have to remove the blower to install the pully ?

Did you just follow the provided install instructions and had no glitches ?

Hey Micro,
Good Questions. I was waiting for someone to ask. Yeah, the car still has the ac pump. I was able to walk the supplied belt on but it is tight-as-a-tiger. Its a mopar belt so there would be a world of improvement with another belt.

I probably didnt have to but i pulled the blower off. The instructions ask you to but if you have a decent strap wrench, you can probably spin the nut off the shaft from inside the car.

The instructions also ask you to retourque the new pulley down to 45ft lbs, but i swear the stock one was installed with like 20lbs. I was able to spin it off with little effort.

Once the blower was out of the car i wrapped my old rubber strap wrench, -craftsman has a nice set for like 25 bones- around the stock pulley. laid the blower or the workbench and spun the pulley off. My blower had less than 6 thousand miles on it so my pulley popped off once i put the puller on it. Just used my hand to tighten the puller and the pulley slid off.

Thats right. I downloaded the instructions from my buddy at JR so i mentally walked through it like 10 times. It was a beautiful install. It probably couldnt be more straightforward. If you do run into trouble, the tech number on the instructions is really answered by a human. And believe it or not the JR guys know everything 'bout this kit.

Right on man,
-Jeff
