Hell, I see slightly modded Foci all over the place when I am in my truck or walking to lunch from work... Not sure if they are members or not.

When I actually see one while I am in my Focus... I make sure to catch up so they can see my center brake light...

i have a sony mx9900 cdplayer with 3inch lcd display full color and a sony 7 inch widescreen moterized in dash minitor with dvd player under the seat and 2 12 inch subs at 1100watts

Marina mile.. thats not that far from Miami. Uless you are talking about South Beach or something. Then again, I drive like a maniac.. so everything is 20 minutes away.. [^]

i think anyone that was out at nopi gt sunburned. hell, it was so hot that if you put any kind of sun block on, with in 3 minutes ur sweating it off any ways. i was wondering the same thing about the cars being broke up. i think it might have to do with time of registration. i'm showing next year and plan on getting people together so we can register at the same time and park in the same area.

yeah, it was a sedan right? i saw it and hung around a bit to see if the owner was around but no go. i did talk to a couple kids down from that with a couple nice SVT's. they seemed pretty cool.

The color is stock Malibu Blue as far as I know (used) but it turns a lot of heads. Most of the time the color is a little darker. I had neglected to wash it that week and it gets darker after a fresh coat of wax, but that camera turned out some weird photos. In person, I wouldn't say it looks better, but I would say it looks different. Looks just as awesome, though. [:)~]

I have only done a couple of mods to it: K&N drop in filter, removed resonator, and installed a Steeda Tri-axis shifter, I am saving up for my body kit at the moment and then after that will come the motor mounts and we will see from there, I think a supercharger is in the future.

I am just getting into the whole sport compact thing but I know enough to know what I DON'T want to be and that is a lame-o ricer.

The one and only mod is the audiophile sub with the enclosure wich i bought from ebay and installed it myself ..[:)] took my a while to figure the wires but i did it !!! really proud of that being a noob... you know..

Wish list:

Goodyears Eagle F1 GS-D3 225/35/18 on 18x7.5

A turbo or a supercharger... as soon as they come out with one for the duratec.... i will spend the $5k.. that's for sure

and the rs body kit ..not the wide one though

I live in Western NC and just bought a 2004 Infra Red SVT Focus about 10 days ago. It has 20,000 miles on it and seems to be totally stock. I would like to do a few simple mods to it, but NC has now begun a more stringent inspection process in which they connect to your cars computer each year. I am unsure of the implications of reprogramming the SVT's computer control so I will have to investigate further.

Anyway, I am loving the little Focus and find myself looking for excuses to run errands just to get it out on the road. It's almost as fun on these curvy mountain roads as my little Suzuki SV 650.

I hope to see another SVTf on the road someday to compare a few things in person. However, there doesn't seem to be many around here. Maybe there will be some kind of meet nearby soon.

I just got my ride about a month ago so I havn't really had time to do any major moddin but I'm getting a either a Focus Sport or K&N CAI, Magnaflow Cat back, Extream Dimensions R34 (Evo III side and back) body kit. Thats all that I have in mind for right now but I'm sure I'll be adding some more stuff. Other than that, I need help finding a aftermarket hood and a spoiler. All of the wings that I've seen so far, I don't like. I'm not a fan of the mid wing. Anyways, heres a pic.

I'm also looking for a Sports Compact car club in AL. All I can find around here is vintage and classic car clubs. I hope some one can help me with this

My name's Matt.

I live in Riverview, Florida. It's a small town in the shadows of Tampa.

I drive a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 with factory installed "flash package", it's one out of 500 made, the difference from the factory stock is pretty much the S2 style spoiler, 17" SVT rims, Continental tires (since changed to firestone fuzion zr1's), chrome exhaust tip (since removed), brushed aluminum B-Pillar trim, Brushed aluminum dash kit, and i think thats it. In addition to that, I have added an intake I built out of my uncle's machine shop, a larger exhaust tip, 2 JL Audio 12" subs, a Memphis audio 500 watt monoblock amp, Streetwires 1 farad capacitor, Streetwires wiring kit, red neons under dash and frontseats and in trunk, painted calipers and rotors (red). I just got a job, so I'm currently planning my next mod, and I'm thinking performance. Any suggestions on what I should do with my first paycheck???

-> Yellow Wire loom on most of my hoses and such

Mods im gonna do:

-> 65mm
-> NoS- 50 shot "dry kit", or SC. Wish i could do both, not gonna happen any time soon
-> Clear corners and clear euro tails
-> Shorty shifter
-> Some kinda chrome rims[?], tires
-> CAI or Short ram
-> Possible a tune
-> Few other things, but these are gonna be done by summer [thumb]

i thought i was told before that u cant do a dry shot on a focus for some reason

you can but a wet shot tends to be safer on any car because it adds fuel and nitrous at the same time through the nitrous sprayer. something like that. there is a huge thread about nitrous in the notrous section on this forum.
