My stock spark plugs have rust on them and im looking to get a better set. The only problem is I cant find anything. No one carries any performace plugs for the 2003. I got ripped on Ebay. I bought a set of Denso Iridium plugs for a 2002. The guy said they would work, but I think the car runs weird. Any suggestions?

autolite plats...get what is made for the car.
Your best bet is to go with Autolites. Unless you are running some mega engine mods, all those other plugs will do is lighten your wallet. Just my opinion.

I heard that autolites were not a good plug.
I've run them in all my Focuses, and never had troubles. Bosch +4s (or whatever their name is) is the bad plug. Its too short.

why would 2003 plugs need to be changed? the car is almost new and should last at least a couple three years. just my 2 cents

areed.. there should be no reason to change your plugs yet. and just to get rid of rust is kinda silly. autolites have historicly worked best in ford engines.
