Hey folks,

just wanted your opinion of my possible future wheels. A champion fellow Focus owner has promised (well close enough [:)] ) me his 17"s now that he has upgraded to 18"s. Naturally I'm paying for them, but I reckon they look really really nice, being Ford's optional 17" wheels for the Focus when you buy it from the dealer. I stuck with the standard 16"s 6 months ago when my baby Focus drove into my garage and am now looking at upgrading. What are your opinions on these rims? (I am pretty sure you can't get them in the US) My car is exactly as in the picture, Machine Silver 3 door just like on top, with the new 7 spoke alloys fitted below. Y'all think it's a better match? Looks good to me [:D]

They're not bad looking and you're right they are not available here in the US.

Hmm, honestly I dont think I like them. I think the spoke looks too big. Like its real fat. But if they make you happy, rock on.

With either wheel, the 16 or the 17, the car would look immensely more attractive lowered. Especially with those 17's though - it just looks like it's riding too high.

I agree with you SVT4me, all the way. I'll get it lowered after I buy rims, just to make sure it's all kosher and I don't get it lowered too far. And the price on the rims is hard to refuse!! They're 2 months old, barely used and in perfect condition, plus the proceeds of the sale of my 16"s which are also in brilliant condition will offset the already heavily discounted cost of the 17"s. It's all going to pay the owner who's a top bloke and will have one of the best Foci in Australia, so I'm more than happy to slip him the cash!!!!!
