blitz22 07-27-2005, 07:25 AM i'm new and i just bought an 03 focus svt. i don't know where to search for a good turbo or supercharger for it. i saw cavalier extreme had one but i'm just not sure. another question is if i do throw in a turbo would the stock exhaust be suffice to handle the added power? like i said i'm new and i need some help. thanks focusboy0383 07-27-2005, 09:00 AM do your homework before you purchase either. the supercharger will have a constant power band and will give pretty good gains(around 50hp). the turbo is going to give you better gains and will allow you to upgrade as you go. thats prob the way i would go. the stock exhaust could stay but you will get better power out of the turbo with a larger sized exhaust. True. 2.5 to 3.0 inch are the reccomended exhaust sizes for turbo. The choice in size will depend on your engine setup and how many PSI you will be running.
