Can I run a JRSC with my current set up besides the injectors? I really need to know as I am going to purchase one this winter. My P&P Head has a higher compression of 10:9:1...will the 10 psi cause me to have any problems? (10psi being from the 2.4 pully) And, what about the cams? With proper tuning they should be fine I would think, but don't know for sure, and want to do this right...

that compression is rather high for a boosted application. of course you can tune it to work, but you're gonna be pulling so much spark timing that it'll make the gains VERY minimal

With that kind of compression and a non-intercoolered JRSC there will be all kinds of detonation. Make sure to get a good tune and maybe some alky injection.

If you shaved the head you may want to swap out to a non-shaved head or maybe do some lower compression pistons. You could always start with the Jackson at normal blower ratio and see how that goes!!!

if you have n/a cams... dont forget... they dont like forced induction... if intake and exhaust overlap... you lose booooooooooost .... to quote the jrsc installation manual...

"Do not run a high performance camshaft with a supercharger. Most high performance camshafts depend on having both inake and exhaust valves open at the same time to help fill teh cylinders. Anytime that both valves are open at the same time, the boost goes out of the exhaust port and will never be seen again.
