ok so i was lookin through the JRSC site, because i was thinkin about getting one for my svtf... well i compared the power page and the stock 04 civic si has more power from the charger than the stock svtf... WTF, i thought the svtf had a better engine and can produce more from the bolt on that JRSC comes wit....?? now i'm not too sure if i should to go with JRSC... PLAN B well that's TOMs turbo... cant make up my mind at this time...

Who knows? Could be just that the Honda engine in that particular instance is better-suited for FI than the Ford engine. Jackson Racing has had a long(er) history of products for Honda rather than Ford, maybe that plays into it somehow...

you must be looking at the race kit for the SI? it has increased boost and the car they test is modded to begin with. the standard si kit makes 30 hp less than the svt

actually if you look at the dynos, all the SI's they test were modded. race or street package

Also, SI's are often used for intakes . blowers and what not, they make BIG gains , so the company can look good. Its just using the right car for the add.

^yeah honda is perfect for high revving high volume intake systems. Unfortunatly JRSC kit is probably the worst F/I for the focus.
