Anyone know where to get some colored door trim? I'm not talking about the handle used to pull the door shut, I mean the cloth like material on the door. I found some on eBay a while back, but now my search turns up nothing.

Do it yourself with whatever fabric you like. Way too easy! I had red on my old ZX3 and L.E.D.ZX3 from Colorado has done a really nice job with his. There was a how to posted on the internet back in 01' that had pics and all of how to do it. Check www.myfordfocus.com I think that was the site that had it.
* I can't log in there to find it but I'm sure that's the place

Can't find anything in their how-to's, and nothing in their forums. I'm looking to do red, also. What material did you use? Would some red vinyl work?
unless you tear out the fabric you souldnt use vinyl it will get lines and indentions on it because the sruface isnt all that hard....

You should PM L.E.D.zx3 about it. IIRC he did use vinyl and it's hot! But from what I do remember is that I went out and bought a color & texture of fabric that I was into from some arts & crafts type place. You then cut out the fabric in the shape of the insert leaving a good amount of overlap (more is better because it's easy to trim and tuck). Once the piece looks trimmed about the same shape of the panel pick a corner and use a drivers license or credit card and start stuffing the fabric into the crack around the panel, contininue working all the way around. You might have to trim as you go some but it's really easy. That's about all there is to it. The fabric in the back on my old ZX3 was a major PITA, you might get frustrated with that. I know it sounds ghetto but don't knock it until you try it and the worst that will happen is that you will be out $5 or so and some time if you don't like it. It really did set off my cars interior and held up very well in the 82K miles that I put on it, never had to adjust or anything. It's an easy mod and I'm confident that it will put a big grin on your mug. Like I said earlier try getting ahold of L.E.D.zx3 either here or at [FJ] in the Team 5280 forum, he should know about the vinyl.
