Should I worry about the rods and pistons with a 50 shot of Nitrous?

As long a it is set up well and gets enough fuel. Its a wet kit right?. Yes you should be fine with a 50 shot. My car has 47,000 miles on it with Nitrous since 12,000 miles!

uh... you would need "some" tuning if I'm not mistaken. Other than that... juice it up, 50 shot should be fun for at random power! ;)

Ugh, That's my biggest pet peeve, every since F&F everyone is say i need "NOS" NOS is just a brand of Nitrous setups, I hate hearing that, say "Nitrous oon stock bottom end" plz
[/rant]

Premium fuel and a slight tune (retard the timing) correct me if i'm wrong.

Well the only thing i can say is i messed up an exhaust valve on a 50hp wet shot. But stuff happens i quess, for the most part you should be fine but again i would highly highly suggest getting some form of tuning, 1 step colder plugs and possibly pulling 1 or 2 degrees of timing. A lot of people will say its not needed but dam it really sucks when your cars sitting in the garage and your all like " well dam maybe i should have just to be safe" nitrous will find any weak point in your engine and will put more heat and stress on it. Take a look at my mods below this post........... all of these mods are a result of my nitrous mishap, it was a querky thing that happend but again this stuff does happen uno, ask Viney266 or Mr Squatch. I just can tell ya from my personal experience what happend to me and thats it but if i had to do it again id get more tuning before you go all out and also make sure every part of your fuel system is operating to 100 % and i mean everything fuel filter, pump, injectors and so on.

I hope this helps.

Brandon.
