what do you guys think? i wanted a different way other than the pillar pod, so i got a spare gauge surround and made THIS:
i cut out the coin pocket and used it for fill-in material around a set of autometer angled gauge rings i got for $12 and bondo-glassed it all smooth and painted.

Looks very, very nice.
What size are those gauges? I assume 2 1/16"
06-28-2005, 11:23 AM
how much u want for one??
06-28-2005, 11:31 AM
the gauges are 2 1/16. i wouldnt mind makin these for other people but to do it i would need to be sent the stock piece and about a week to make it and send it back......id prolly do it for like $25 if i didnt have to pay any shipping either way and materials and stuff. i could use pvc instead of the angle rings cause those were like a one shot deal i got so materials would cost like $15. if anyone is actually seriously interested you could PM me
06-28-2005, 11:36 AM
holy crap dude the ones on ebay are $130....maybe i should be askin more money geez
06-28-2005, 05:34 PM

go to depot and look for 2inch pvc pipe and just cut about 1/2 to 3/4 piece off of it
