This is a 1 step larger Vortech than comes in the kit , Kinda happy with the numbers as you can see the Vortech BOV is poping under the 18PSI on the top end and wont hold , It needs to be changed , I had a 333HP run and lost it so i printed this in STD , The SAE numbers on this dyno are 326HP 233TQ

This is on 93 Octane , built engine

Did you have to do any fuel system delivery mods (pump, lines, etc.)?

Its kinda weird tho the horsepower is way up there and the torq is really good but just seems like there should be more torq there uno, Tom why is that? I mean your turbo kits are pretty even on torq and horsepower, you'd think with the upgrade on the the supercharger would offer greater torq gains. Im just curious on how and what causes this to happen.

Yes SVT,,,,No fuel system mods

Low TQ will allways be the down fall to SC in my opinion because it takes TQ to turn the SC so you have to give up a lot of TQ to get HP

Turbos spin from wasted Exh so nothing to loose

Yea well, the only good aspect that you can look at with going with a sc is the highway gas mileage. Other than that if you can afford to, go with turbo over the sc. You'll have a faster car but it will also eat up more gas.

Just because there isn't a high peak tq number, that doesn't mean that it's by any means slow. Money down that that 330 SCed Focus will eat many turbo Foci.

Peak numbers are NOT everything fellas.

Is this using the G-Trim model then? IIRC Vortech charges around $1800 for this trim don't they? At this point it makes me wonder why someone wouldn't just go with a turbo.

Also Tom, you mentioned a BOV. How are you running a blow off valve with a vortech? I thought it wasn't possible without standalone like what Hector is running.
