Is anyone thinking about getting one or have one?

I will be getting one to tune my jrsc.

ACTUALLY, i, a SCT dealer and use to be diablo until all there tunes suck. I had a 2003 lightning with 13K on it blow up on dyno, why? because diablo advanced timind WAY too much. Oh and you need to read about the Xcal 2 my friend, better and safer tunes, more user adjustable options , and dealers can email tunes. Also it data logs to your laptop and has analog for wideband.

[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*ACTUALLY you havent a clue what your talking about , Why? because diablo makes tunes that YOU the dealer need to make sure are safe for what you are doing , All tunes that come in the Predators dealers like you say you were and my self have access to to make sure there safe , So why didnt you check it before hand , you think you can just install a generic tune and it is suposta be the perfect tune , If you were a Diablo dealer why didnt you tune it your self

[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*With the Predator it is all built into the hand held unit , No laptop needed , The Predator can show 6 to 7 Parameters at one time and with pushing a button can go to 50 more in Sec , it can read and clear CEL as well and datalog with out a laptop

Diablo software is still tuning most of the most powerfull Foci around 518HP and climbing

REALLY now... well just to let ya know i didnt tune the lightning, and it was dyno tuned by another shop and destroyed on my dyno. Oh and predator datalogging is NOWHERE near as good as SCT, you can read more parameters and see ALOT clearer on lap top. Oh and diablo has updates for you to get from their website WHY??? because they cant never get it right the first time. With SCT i can load in a basic file and not blow up cars LOL.. unlike some tuning software :cough: And your user adjustments are for taking out timing when you want to spray N2O.
Well ive seen a SCT tuned turbo SVT focus pushing 575 on a mustang dyno, so dont tell me diablo has fastest focus out their. There are cars WE dont know about. And like SCT you should be able to put a basic upgrade tune in a stock car and it not blow up. SCT is just all around better. Oh and if it werent for SCT ,the guy who started diablo worked for superchips and stole their ideas and some tuning programs. So dont tell me what you dont know. I do it for a living and i know the whole 9 yards not 5 1/2. Not being an @$$ about it but just open your mind and listen to folks sometime, it might save your motor.

If you are a dealer why were you messing with the diablo built files and not doing your own

As for Diablos ideas coming from SCT PROVE IT you ran your mouth now back it up with proof , YOU CANT

SCT has updated tunes to get from there website to does that mean there first ones were bad as well if not why did they update them

As for the datalogging i am talking about the Predator by it self to the xcal by it self not the Raptor , O wait the xcal by it self is worthless with out a laptop riding along with you , the Predator can do all this by it self

I have both the Diablo and the sct software and they will both get the job done , the software is differant as day and night far more work in the sct to do the same thing as the Diablo , more math and more thinking needed , but if you had both you know that

Our updates in SCT is not the changing of a file AND YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT IF YOUR A DEALER.. it is updates on differ box codes and products. Well you stick with your tuning software and ill stick with mine.
Oh and to prove the whole diablo use to work for superchips, They went to court over it and SCT won,so you can find it in court records also hehehe, ya boys are theifs LOL..
Oh and i wasnt dealer for diablo but for 3 weeks, and didnt like. And if diablo is so great why arnt JDM (one of the biggest perfromance carriers and tuners) using them.. LOL Dioblo is trying to GIVE them 100 free chips With software.. why because it aint worth buying, and JDM knows whats best and hmmmm... what do they have again..... on tip of tounge... OH YA SCT.

Actually, Wayne's latest word is that the xcal can store 7MB on its own...without a laptop.

yep..7mb on board, means logging can be done without a lappie...good times!

So can the Predator so again there isnt anything that sct can do that Diablo cant and yes sct DOES change there files and they do it all the time

It s a matter of what you like to use , I feel there is less math to do in the predator and things are easier to find and use , they both will make the same power with the same tuner using them

Im getting a xcalibrator 2 instead of a sct chip uno the chips are kinda useless compared to it now i think.

I agree with Tom 100% and I have SCT and Diablo so I am not bias 1 to the other. They both work it is only as good as the programmer. I do use more Diablo than SCT the customers we have want it and they may already have it and needs adjusted because the Procharger and Vortech kits came with it. Mostly all of our Cobra and Lightning customers ask for diablo. It doesn't matter to me the end result is the same.
