ok, so my original problem was the ground for my amp. that problem didn't get fixed, but another problem did result! my seatbelt mechanism shortened on me and it wouldnt stretch out. come to find that the wound-up metal band on the inside was all twisted to shit and the thing holding it on was broken. so, now i dont have a driver's side seatbelt. it just stretches all the way out![V] I'm going to call the junkyard soon, but does anyone have any idea if any other ford cars' mechanisms would work? i doubt they will now there, but i will try....plus i cut my finger on the metal band. bad bad day for the focus...boo hoo.[?|]

Im sure that you could get the part from ford. Ive had good experiances with my dealership here. You might pay a little more (like $10-15) But this is your life that were talkin about here. Dont be cheap. [:)]

does anyone know if the passenger side is the same as the driver's side? I'm just wondering, because apparently the focus salvage says 30 for pass, 75 for driver. hmm... i will look when i get a chance, but i thought maybe somebody on here knew for sure offhand.
