Any comments ideas? Looks kind of similar to toms setup in a small way. I dunno. LOL Still looks cool :D
ztecpower 05-28-2005, 03:39 PM I think it's WAY to expensive for 6 lbs of boost, I'd rather get a roush turbo.....
(if I wanted turbo) I'm a supercharger kinda guy..... mmmmmm Vortech
Drool...... Jackson Racing.
ZX3TUNR 05-28-2005, 04:50 PM will you can prolly set the boost up higher if you want.
blackandgold 05-28-2005, 05:10 PM I live right near Wagner. I know I posted something up about this not too long ago and Tom said their tuning sucks on it really bad. From what i have heard from other people around the area I heard it is not that great of a kit do to the tuning. So take it for what it is worth but I would look elsewhere.
1turbofocus 05-28-2005, 05:12 PM When will you stop screwing around with wanabe boost and get my kit
You have spent enough time and money to now have my kit , JUST DO IT
Tom
Focu5ed 05-28-2005, 09:12 PM Just to clarify, Wagner does sell the kit without tuning. It's not like a kit-with-tuning or no-kit-at-all situation.
And I'd think that chances are you could buy injectors and maf from them, yet have some other shop get do you a tune. And just for further ideas, McNews isn't all that far!
hurtinfocus 05-31-2005, 01:23 PM i spoke to the guys from wagner in person when i was at moddified madness, and thier kit looks really nice in person, as for tuning, the guy that built the prototype on his car has been using an sct flasher on a sct chip and is still learning the flasher stuff. the kit looks really well crafted and the only weak point is the tuning which you could def. have done somewhere else. you could easily take this kit, add a boost controller to up the boost, and have it tuned elswhere and have a really great turbo kit for a really decent price.
Kicknzx3 05-31-2005, 03:17 PM the kit is on cory's car...contact CWZX3 on FJ..he will give ya some info. i have seen the kit in person and been to wagner before on a dyno day we had. nice guys but from what i saw in person "even helping them with tuning a fuel pressure regulator"...but times change and cory's car is still running so it can't be that bad...and i KNOW he doesn't baby the car

So I take it you know wagner motorsports work first hand judging by your post?
1turbofocus 06-01-2005, 05:31 PM First hand no
I know mine first hand and feel it is second to none and have many ways to back it up with many kits out there working and many dynos to back it all up
Tom
ZX3TUNR 06-01-2005, 06:27 PM Im not saying I would buy it . Im just trying to figure out ideas behind some of the designs these kits have so I can get a better understanding how things work.
finalley 06-01-2005, 11:32 PM with all due respect xz3 ,if you google "turbo kits" you'll get 950,000 sites, but they all { with minor variations } work the same.
So how bout it ....slap that money down and commit your self to buy one...

1turbofocus 06-03-2005, 07:54 AM Take a rag and clean your screan , I havent shot down any turbo kit on here
Well reputed company , didnt know that even had a rep on here thay have done 1 turbo kit that been on a car that has been on here , does 1 kit constitute a rep
But to answer your question YES i do feel my kit is the best

Wannabe boost? So you were complimenting them I take it?
They are a well reputed company with the mitsubishi crowd, and the white evo RS you see right above the focus pic on their site is the owners ride, you should let him show you how good his products are sometime, I'd like to see how many buslengths he can put on you

1turbofocus 06-03-2005, 08:00 PM This isnt a EVO board and they have proved NOTHING or even close to anything yet in the Focus till then you are only guessing as to what it can do , My kit has made 500+HP and 300+ on 93 , I would say they have a lot to prove and 1 kit isnt going to do it
My comment of wannabe boost was because the guy that started this post has already bought and sold a procharger kit and is looking for something else to go FI with
And i dont know what "buslengths " is
Tom
Sneaker Pimp 06-04-2005, 03:26 AM My point was that they know what they are doing, not just with mitsubishis.
I wouldnt doubt the quality of the kit, nor the power it will make with the success they've had over a broad range of cars.
Nevermind about the buslengths, another time...
ZX3, you'll be happy with whatever you choose, toms or wagner, just depends on what you want to spend[thumb]
