This is what happens when you have a cheap turbo header

looks like the metal was too thin and that the weld may have gotten too hot during assembly.

Doesn't look like there is any type of extra support to handle the weight of the turbo. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like they just cut off the cat flange and welded on the turbo flange and called it good. Plus that metal is really thin stuff!

where did you buy that turbo header? that style though DEF. needs a support bracket to handle the added weight of a turbo

Where's the rest of the car? It looks like the camera is sitting where the bumper is supposed to be. If it's a longitudinally mounted motor, then the camera is where the fender goes... And you can see a little bit of a support bracket that looks like it snapped. This pic looks like one of a wrecked car.

that is just what my first idea for a manifold was a focussport style header that has been attached to a t-3 flange. Looks like it wasent a good weild I do the same thing on horizontal and definatly needed an extra support.. I'm verry glad I didn't go through with that one..

If you repair and reuse it tru bracing the turbo flange to the manifold flange, and also a brace from the downpipe to the block may also help stabelize everything

My friend sent me that picture from another website.
So I really dont whats about it.He told me that the guy bought the header of ebay
and made it himself. A stock header is to light weight for header. There should have been more support to hold the turbo and header.

Yes S2 more ebay crap[:)~]

Well, the block is aluminum, and there is no tranny on the right side of the picture. I agree[;)]

I dont use T-bolt clamps either , there just not needed , All my kits back in the day had T-bolt clamps with them and people would over tighten them and split the hoses and crush the Alum intercooler piping so i junked them

My car with 28PSI is doing just fine with STD type clamps
