I need to clean some spots off the red cloth parts of my front seats and I was wonding if anyone has used any products that they could recommend. I was just going to buy some prestone auto carpet/interior cleaner, but im hesitant becuse all cleaning produts say to use on a hidden area first to make sure its not going to change the color any. But they is no hidden area of the red cloth to try it on. So has anyone tried anything on their seats that didnt harm anything? Any help here would be much appreciated.

Can you buy that at like Wal-mart or the grocery store Revamp?

Also i have a small steam cleaner, one of those "little green" cleaners, but i would think that the detergent stuff that comes with that might be too harsh. I guess i could just try it with just the hot water and the little brush.

Prestone makes an interior cleaner in a spray can that works very well.

I always use Tuff Stuff - avail at most places. Red and yellow can. Works great, never discolored any carpet. Took out 3yr old soda stains in 10 min!

I steamed my spots out, worked good, I own the "little devil" steamer.

just a word of caution, Many of you are shouting out recommendations and suggestions, but you have not used the cleaner on the SVT seats before. Unfortunately, SVT seats are made with the most mark-and-stain susceptible fabric i have ever seen. SOmeone I know with an SVT used a few "tried and true" fabric cleaners on her SVT seats and all they did was leave terrible white marks where the stains were and wherever the stain remover was.

And you have used this on the cloth part of your SVT front seats without any discoloration or problems?

prestone didn't work on my svt seats.

Prestone works for me but I do have a little trick. After cleaning the area really good, I use a warm wet rag to clean the Prestone off the coth portion of the seat. Works great!!!!

I have used Tuff Stuff on mine when I had it with no issues.

^^I also used the "tuff stuff" on my car, and it worked well..........
