So this is basically an idea of my backyard and what I do with my Focus whenever it gets dirty and I want to milk it before I wash it. I wish I can show you the giant dust clouds that formed behind me, but I had to stop to take the pictures.

I love going about 50 or so around these trails. I love it when I do my powerslides as well to meet the turns.

Here's the car, the pictures do it no justice, as it's really more dirtier than it looks here.

And for the sad news...basically, people are saying that my stock Focus wasn't meant for this ([:(] ). Therefore, the decision is made, I'll just be saving my money for an STi or whatever is a good rally-inspired car that has more pep to it, rather than get a skid-plate on this daily driving car. I'll also get a skid plate for the STi and do lots more to it in terms of aesthetics and whatever is necessary to play in the dirt/sand.

I love my Focus, but I want a manual tranny (it was my first car and I didn't know how to drive stick then), among a few other stuff, so I'm better off getting that car.

Wow that looks like some fun!

I really liek the last "trail" shot above the one of your passenger front corner.

Sad news about wanting to get rid of the Focus, but STis are pretty sweet themselves, I hope you enjoy whatever you end up with!

Aww, it'll be about a year or two before I even do that.

However, I want to get back in those trails. But I still live with my parents until I get to the dorms this coming spring semester 2006.

Man I wish I could find roads like that near me, it's just all paved over. Oh well, I say keep having fun in the dirt with your Focus though until you go STi.

looks like some of the trails I used to drive my truck down, but minus the big ruts and rocks.

just to let u know the focus is a rally inspired car that was the original intention of the car before the mass produced it to a family car

Who said I didn't? I love going 60+ on jughandles before I hit the interstate around here. =0)

And I didn't do a rear caliper conversion. Details?

Also, if you can show me where it says the Focus was meant to rally a bit, that'd also be good.

The public's version of the Focus is definitely not meant to be rallied, but all in all, it still is based off of a rally inspired car. Gotta love it. Sucks that you want to get rid of it.

Yeah, if it was a manual transmission, I'd definately keep it. So I'm just going to make my next car be ready to play in things like that.
