Im looken into gettin a procharger kit for my 02 SVT. Im just wondering it says 8-10 Psi boost yet the stock SVT engine already is at 10:1 ratio. Can the stock motor handle a procharger at say 8-10 boost or do I have to change other parts within the engine??

I dont want to blow up my motor or fry some stuff inside it, but I do want the power. so what should I look out for with these procharger kits and the extra boost on the engine??

Also will there be reliability issues with the procharger kit installed??

From what I understand, 8psi without a prob, up to 10psi with a good tune job.

The kit is only as good as the parts and the manufacturer. Procharger is a good name, so expectations should be pretty high.

Reliability is pretty much reliant on who puts it in. Make sure whoever puts it in is reputable and you should be fine [:)]

Dont be relying on ProCharger for a tune :(

yea hes right dont relay on procharger for tune i have a procharger kit and my pretune came all screwed up but they did pay for it to be tune and now she purrrs like a kitten at 206 hp and 196.7 tq and i love it

they sent me a faulty tune and I sent the chip back. So I waited and waited and finally they tell me they no longer doing tunes for the focus. So now I have this kit and no tune. There are no tuners here at all nor dynos.

either I have to drive to the states, or buy SCT ProRacer but I have no idea about tuning so ya :(

Not a good experience for me at all. The most important thing when I was looking into f/i was going with a company that supplied a accurate tune :(
