Hey guys. Now im not to big into the whole mod thing yet and i am wanting to do a little bit to my car this summer but i dont know what would be best to give me some more hp. I thought about an intake and exhaust. so what would be good ones to get and what else could i do to my car? thanks.

Best first mod you can do is get a new tune. It is the biggest bang for the buck [:)]

start ground up, wheels, brakes, suspension. then intake, exhast ( for the grater good please dont stick those ricer tea pot mufflers on. big waste of cash and super annyoing), pull, ECU. then visual or more serious performance.

Try checking out the threads in this forum.
There's plenty of discussions about the same topics.

Fortunately, since you're starting with an SVT model,
wheels, brakes, and suspension mods are not really needed...[;)]
Until, you start reaching their limits, which will take some HARD driving.

For starters, I'd recommend.
1) VF Engineering Rear Motor Mount
2) Ford Racing Performance Parts (same as Steeda) Short Throw Shifter.
3) TUNE. Either SCT XCalibrator or Diablo Predator.

One thing you'll find in your reading....
An exhaust will not help performance, but it will improve the sound, if that's what you're looking for.

Ditto to what WD40 said...yeah, I can kiss up, so what? [:I]

An aftermarket Intake wouldn't hurt either. I'm looking forward to snagging the RearMount and STS pretty soon, and the Tune is last on my list of goodies...
