: Focus S2 SteelRain 05-10-2005, 08:10 AM What the heck is a Focus S2??? There is one in my parking lot at work but I haven't been able to find the driver. It's a CD silver 3dr Focus with a S2 sticker behind the door. It has an AEM rocker pannel, a little wing, and 205/50R16 firestone tires on a silver and black rims. Never seen one before and never heard mention of one on the forum so was wondering if anyone knew what this was. Thanks for any info. Mike stever525 05-10-2005, 08:39 AM Chad? S2 05-10-2005, 09:11 AM I got a S2 edition myself..... The S2 edition was/is a limited edition (1500 I believe) focus that came out in 2001. It came in three colors (listed below) and came with several changes over a typical ZX3. As well, the 2001 S2 (liquid grey like mine) was where that color originated as the liquid grey is 'notorious' with the focus. It was the first focus that came with that color as all the other 2001 models didn't come in that color. Check it out below..... (click my PHOTO GALLERY on the LEFT if you want to see more S2 pics). * "European-tuned" supension * Graphite grey chin spoiler & rocker moldings * Rear roof spoiler * Color-matched side moldings * 16" machined-aluminum wheels * "S2" body-side badging * Chrome-tipped exhaust * 6-disc in-dash CD changer * Unique sport bucket seats & door trim * Silver-faced gauges with red needles * Available in three colors: - Liquid Grey (unique to S2 in 2001) - CD Silver - Sangria Red As well, the car is basically a typical ZX3 with the other options, you could get the S2 without power windows, etc..... Mine is fully loaded also including a sunroof so it makes it even that much more rare and it a MTX (manual trans). I am honestly not sure where the 1500 cars are cause here in Canada, I know in this province I live in (Saskatchewan) there are only two S2's, both in my city and the other one is a CD Silver one. jollyjohnj 05-10-2005, 09:19 AM The local dealership here has 2 sitting on the lot - one CD Silver, and one Sangria Red. EGZ I believe your correct, definitely stiffer then a regular ZX3.
