Well last week on thursday my friend invited me to this event on royal ln.
This is how it goes:

It usually starts at around 10 pm and goes on till 1 or 2 am
they all meet in the intersection of 3 gas stations and jack in the box. I saw a couple of foci out there last time but I didnt recognize anyone that I could have possibly seen on the forums, but after a while they all take off and go down about 2 blocks and there is a nice straightaway they race on. Yes, it is illegal but fun with a [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]* load of people out there. Everyone races, trucks, deisels, mustangs, foci, hondas, you name it. When the cops bust that one they all go down 635 E and head to Regal Row and race again. So its like a huge meet where everyone shows off and then if you want you can race, if your up to it. I raced at Regal Row with my stock ST and kept up with 3000GT and kicked ass against a modded prelude and a turbo civic hatchback. So if you want to see how your ride handles on the line then come out and maybe ill see one of you guys here in dallas.
Its every Teusday and Thursday. I heard the pack gets huge in the summer.[thumb]

this is very true they do get huge in the summer, but more and more busts happen and nire tickets are issed...i use to go out there...i have gone out a few times recently, and i have seen a few foci out there...but those guys arent on the forum and dont care to mingle...well, take care out there...and dont get to many tickets they get to you i know

hey Karniv04, are you on FJ? I think I might have met you before at the Costco meet a couple months ago.

ps. watch out at the races, I got busted in a raid a couple of yrs ago. Man its been at least that long or longer since I went out to N Dallas meets. Well just watch yourself, dont want you to get in an accident trying to run from the pigs or get shot at like a friend of mine did a month ago at Regal!

Most likely I will probably be going once a month or so, even though i went yesterday, making that 2 days in a row ;).
I got some mad props for racing though. I was on tails of turbocharged acuras and probes. As well as beating another turbo civic and some other random cars. It is fun if you got the guts i guess. Like you said though, sucks with cops chasing after you and all the crazy people that dont know how to drive.

I know the Farmer Branch Police have tried to shut it down for years.
Was out there years ago a couple of times with my Tursimo(Charger) 2.2 when the police rolled in, not the best of situations.

It would be nice if they were to build some place for the racing in the North Dallas area.

they actually do but you dont see very many street racers, or ricers. Its more about muscle cars and mustangs. Up in denton off of 35 exit 473 or something is the denton 1/8th mile track. Im actually thinking about going there and racing my dad's 67 nova with 700hp for a while :P
