Im having an issue with my custom tune. I went to reinstall the original tune into the car for warranty work which went fine, but when I went to put your custom tune back after getting the car from the dealer, for some reason the tune will not take. It gets to 20% and says that the tune was not installed. I am curious if the custom tune is even the unit. When I first got the Diablo and turned it on there was a picture of and SVT Focus, now it just shows the Diablo Sport logo. Not sure what is going on but any help would be appreciated. I purchased this unit in Feb, so from what I understand I should still have 3 months of free tunes. I am also going to post this email in the FF forum under Focus-Power area.

Did you remove fuse 46/61 when trying to load the Custom Tune

hey tom do you need to pull fuses on the sct package too?

does it say that in the instructions?

If you loaded the Custom tune and it failed than you lost the custome tune and i will have to send you another one

Yep, thats what happened. The custom tune is gone which explains why the car is running like crap. I reflashed the YRFO that was saved into the Predator after the first install of the custom tune back in Feburary. Im not sure what was put in there when I hit the performance tune option this last time, but it was pretty crappy.

tom i didnt pull the fuses cause i was soo excited and forgot! whats gonna hppen i keep throw the altenator code is this problem...im afraid to load stock then do it over cause it always says comsetup failed!

Your saying that if you try to flash the custom tune and the flash fails for some reason then you loose the custom tune? If so I guess we all (including myself) should back up the custom tune on our home pc's correct?

I didn't have anythng mess up with mine, I was just wondering if what you said above is correct "If you loaded the Custom tune and it failed than you lost the custome tune and i will have to send you another one" cause if so I will definatly be taking the extra 10 min or so and uploading a copy to my pc.

Yes, I would like another copy of the tune sent to willfortney@msn.com please. I will insure to save this to my PC so I will not have to ask you for another copy if this happens again. Thanks.
