Met up with one of these on Interstate 94 west bound near Milwaukee. I had my daughter in the car at the time so I wasn't about to try and keep up with it.

License plate read "TURBO LEX" and looked like a GS400, lowered, big wing but had an "ARISTO" badge which I looked into and is actually the Toyota model sold over seas that we know as the GS series here.

Anybody else caught one of these?

yep, same thing with many other models...specially the altezza...

They must not be a huge thing up here in this area then. Do most people just rebadge their GS's or IS300's with the import badge to look cool?

Most people do that just to be different...I see alot of G35s in SoCal rebadged under their Asian name as the Skyline.
