Well about two weeks ago there was a thread retaining to how the focus has a grind going into third,so I took my car in on april 23.I went yesterday to go and get some stuff out of it.And when I got there I see the transmission out of the car ,bell housing on one side of the table the gears on the other intake on the floor it was a mess to see,and it made me sad [:(]

what the hell did u do to it?

Just took it in to fix the grind into third

You should be glad its fixed under warranty. Did they give you a loaner?

Bummer and thats the one thing I hate about Ford. My gf has a Mazda Protege and they would always offer her loaners on warranty service.

They will pretty much be rebuilding your tranny. I had the same thing done about 1500 miles ago and listed all the stuff they replaced. Now it's as smooth as butter.

Im just glad there doing it because my warranty is allmost up at 35,960 when I droped it of with my intake header and all the other little goddies on

I thought trannies weren't covered the full 36k though? Whatever pretty cool that they're paying for it, it'd be a lot more painful to see if you knew it was comig outta your pocket![eek]

Yay I just got my car back not only did they replace all of those things they gave my a brand new clucth.now I only have 475 more miles to break in the new clucth.

yay!!

MINES GOT A 100K MILE POWER TRAIN. I havn't had to use it yet, thank goodness.
