how u think it would sound if i put a magnaflwo muffler in place of the stock and then straight pipe connected to stock tip out the back...so id be gettin rid of stock muffler and lunchbox...i would be keeping the stock resonator up front?? anyone do this is it a good idea?? thanks

nay, it's sounds pretty much the same as the stocker.... i took my car in to redo my exhaust tip, and i heard it on a yellow svt in the muffler shop testing mufflers out.... the loudest i heard came from, i think a flowmaster...

maybe replace the muffler with a small resonator and remove the lunchbox. That might sound good. Removed muffler is too loud. Removed lunchbox is hardly noticeable at anything above 4k.

so if i put a magnaflow or anything in the place of the stocker it will suck?!

well i would try one more thing if i had money and time... i'd get rid of all the res., the one in the front right after the cat, and the one in the far back (lunchbox).. i havent heard the sound yet, but think about it.... it might be that sound your lookin for!!

i dont know if it will suck or not, but how much is a good magnaflow or flowmaster muffler?
if its about 100 bucks i say go for it. get the whole thing done for about 150. I say keep the stock tip.

I did that on my car , it's been about 3 months and im still loving it but yes it is abit too quiet if you really want the sound.

I loved my magnaflow cat back, it was slightly louder then stock. The only problem is the cops are cracking down in my town and I have an orp on now. When I put the orp on, it sounded allsome. Now since the cops are cracking down with db meter, I have gotten five complains for my car being to loud. I need help. How can i quiet my car down with out taking my orp off?I was concidering taking of the magnaflow catback ( only 6 months old, and will sell cheap) and replace it with something that is not as load. Suggestions please to get the cops off my back.

hey idont really kno what u could do maybe put the stock back on or get a muffler shop to do a custom back with some resonators in it..but whenever u want to sell that exhaust pm me right away thanks!
