While my car was in the shop getting the slave cylinder replaced, the ford techincians somehow broke one of the vaccum hoses, going into the top of the supercharger causing it to idle at 3,000 rpm. I also noticed that it was running 9psi instead of 6psi, can vaccum hose do that. Or, do I have a bigger problem. I am going to put the hose on when it stops raining today, it will take all of 2 minutes.

well i know that that could be a cause of it. my friend has an old volvo turbo stationwagon and he took off the vacume hose so he could run alot of boost just for fun and it worked...so who knows. did you take it back and get them to fix it

no, my friend is the manager at autozone and I got a hose for free, I put it on and now it runs right

nice. better there than ford anyway. i swear you would think they would have a clue since they work for ford. its like they have the knowledge but somtiems lack common sense
