Since I have never heard a centrifugal blower before I have no clue how there supposed to sound and this doesnt sound right :huh: Now IM hoping its more or less just becuase the dam thing isnt tuned yet :( but it still dont sound right.

I checked the oil in the blower and its full. The belt is running on all the pullies and seems to be ok. I did remove the UDP and put the stock one back on.

Is it possible I tourqed the crank pulley on to much?

The day I put the blower on I didnt touch anything. Stock pullies back on and bolted the blower up and thats it.

Now I did show the video to some one and they said it sounds like the piston hitting the valve??? I dunno how this could be. I drove the car the day before and it was perfect and even had ford check the car and everything was good.

Maybe Im just paranoid. In the video you can totaly tell my fuel map is way out and that why I didnt let it run much LOL Tune should be here soon but I had to start the car just to make sure she was still alive. Maybe im on crack and thats how the cent blower is supposed to sound. Like I said Im prolly the only person in Regina with one so I have no idea how it should sound.

yikes...yea those pullies seem pulled a bit too tight r something with them..and yet, i saw a cobra who when just cruizin made a sound like the pullies were slippin r something..it wasnt that loud, and yours doesnt make a continuous noise, it flutters. glad to see that you put it on though..thats pretty bad ass [thumb]

The fluttering is most due to the the fuel map being out. Going from the 19lb to 42lbs. That should be fixed with the tune but ya. I dunno if the blower is supposed to sound that loud LOL. I did how ever upgrade the 8psi pulley to a 10psi.

blower sounds fine...something else external sounds like its rattling a bit

hmm.. Once before I think about taking her for a drive once I get the new chip in I well jack it up and double check all the bolts and parts.

Like I said. Engine ran perfect. Took the car to ford they said it was perfect. Its a 2003 with less with only 20,000 km on it. Every is like like new still. Havent driven the car all winter and havent touched anything besides bolting the pro charger on..

dude everything sounds good to me the prochargers all sound like that they
are all very loud they sound like something is going to blow up but thats just the way they are designed

well so much for suprise suprise i got a s/c..with how loud that thing is people will know you have one from the opposite side of the interstate heh, post some vids after its all good to go though

The main reason I wanted the kit was becuase of its stealth "look" I guess that idea is out the window.

Your blower is fine..I had a Vortech blower on my mustang, and it sounded EXACTLY like you blower does. i called them, and they told me it sounded like that cuz of the bearings that are in the housing. It was the "V-1" model blower. Do you have a vortech?

nah. I got the C-1 ProCharger blower with the upgraded 10psi pulley.

I would call procharger to make sure (send them your video clip so they can hear it). But I wouldn't sweat it. I've heard many blowers, including mine that sound like that.

it sounds like every other one i've heard, you're idle seems to be a bit rough though.

idle is rough becuase i got no tune and its idling at 2g.

but anyway

3 hours later and my engine bay is un boosted. Dam spark plugs break easy. Good thing I bought 2 sets LOL.

Im just going to wait for my tune then bolt everything back up. Getting pretty dam fast at this now. First time to swap injectors seriosly felt like 2 hours lol. This time it took 15 minutes. The only thing I still have trouble with is getting the dam PCM back in the slot.

So hoping End of May everything well be worked out then I can go for tuning in June.

ya.. even worse was I found out the guy a ATI that was in charge for tuning the focus chips quit. So now im waiting longer. This was why I pulled the blower off for now.
