TOM
I am seriously looking in to your Stage 1 kit a year down the road. My wife and I are trying to save up for it and would like to know how much would EVERYTHING be. I know the kit itself is 2795.00, and you can get me chip, injectors for 850. Running that much HP and TQ I would think some of the stock parts couldn't handle it.
Would you subject on an trany upgrades? Do you have any recommendations?
Does that come with a new header?
Is the Turboonetics10900 BOV good with the kit your selling?
Basically I would like to know out the door and good for day to day driving and not skipping any corners because I want my car for at least 100+ miles, if I do this, how much is it?
I know people have asked this before in the forum but I never really got a solid answer.
Thanks,
Richie

richie is ur car mtx-75 or automatic?
both should get built down the line but i wouldnt worry about it too much if ur gonna boost slightly.
does it come with a header?
yes it comes with a turbo exaust manifold. same thing
blow off valve?
get the greddy type-S b.o.v they are supposed to work nicely for the kit.
you should also buy a piller mount you know the gauge pod thing that goes up on the pillar of your driver side where you put gauges. the recomened gauges are
Air fuel gauge WITH WIDE BAND-$450 i think. Boost gauge like $80 i think and "IM GETTING" a oil pressure gauge for my car cause i have 3 whole. those are i think like 60-70 dollars.
if your car is tuned WHICH IT NEEDS TO BE NO EXCEPTION! if they do it properly your car should maintain a long life depending on how you beat on your car.
me for example i dont molest my car all the time i baby it more that beat on it. your car should be close to near stock reliablity if its all slaped on right.
mike filling in for tom lol
i asked him like 200000335237878496179578975178531 questions so those are pretty accurate answers.

cool mike thanks,
what do you mean built down the line? i lost you there, if it is what I think you mean so I can wait a little on the clutch and fly wheel not to important then.
I have a manual trany by the way.
I know to get the guages I already know where to mount them, I am really good with fiberglass.
Does tom sell the BOV's or will I have to get a sucky price some where else.

It really depends on how you drive it. I have 40,000 turbocharged miles on a stock block, dif, and clutch at 200 + HP. I do drive hard but no drag strip launches.

well basically if you beat the hell outta your car you will need to upgrade the clutch, flywheel is alright i guess, but i think a limited slip differential is a better idea to do, you may as well get the whole clutch, flywheel, and lsd done at once. thats what ill end up doing once my clutch takes a shit on me.
a greddy type-s bov should be around 200-250 check ebay out, i think at the turbo shop by me I THINK it was 225 for the type-s.
tom does not sell a bov and i think u should get one. TOM DOES weld a bov flange on to the kit upon request.

The stock parts hold up very well keep in mind that i did 326 328TQ at the wheels on all stock stuff for over 5000 miles even clutch
STG1 2795.00
MIC 850.00 add SCTPro for 400.00 more
Install is 750.00
Tune is 300.00
That is all that is needed to make this kit work and work well
Options would be
BOV
boost controller
gauges
Water meth injection
intercooler kit

Hey racer35
check out my how to do page in my website. I have a section on how to install Tom's Full kit step by step including what socket sizes you need. I did the install in 2 days Saturday and Sunday.
http://www.turbozx3.com/howto.htm
I bought Tom full kit and i love it.. it is really easy to install + i have done that for you already. I'm a daily driver , i can't afford to have my car down i put aroung 500 miles to 1,000+ miles every month. Since I got Tom's full kit i haven't had a problem everything went smooth. Tom always reply quick to my email and answer any question i have, believe me i have ask the same question 20 times ask Tom. and he always answer them with no problem or getting mad at me.
The only thing i bought extra was
Greddy type-s from ebay
Greddy Profec -B from ebay (not the Profec-II)
Autometer Pyrometer - Tom weld the bung on the manifold (the bung comes wit h the gauge
Autometer Boost Gauge - ATM-3303 from http://www.summitracing.com
JandS Safeguard with Dual Monitor from http://www.jandssafeguard.com ( I reallly recommend this)
if you have more question send me and email to prturbozx3@turbozx3.com. I will be glad to help you out.
