What a shame. Such a great car going to waste, was it really worth the extra HP..... I don't think so.

what about the focus on fire pics...nitrous backfire from fuel sittin in the plastic manifolds=easily go BOOM

I once saw a video of a 2001 Ram Air Trans Am that blew while on the dyno and hitting the juice. The hood was open and the video camera caught the whole thing while it was happening, very scary video, glad I wasn't the camera man or the owner of the vehicle!! That was enough to stear me away from Nitrous for good myself!! ....
BTW, 500th post!!

Sure I've seen plenty of nitrous problems, and turbo problems, and NA explosions etc etc etc.... When you push things they can break.. BTW just for the record, plastic manifolds SUCK, ask any new mustang guy ...
It is just that the small shots are easy to do without much trouble.. A 50 shot on a 4 cyl. is fine...It is when you go bigger that the tuning becomes VERY VERY important.

Rebuild after a fire SUCKS...It`s a risk we all take. Damn I feel sorry for that person.[:(]
