I am VERY interested in purchasing a Super Charger for my 00 Foci Sedan but I can only spend 2,000-2,100 dollars.. I am interested in a Vortech but maybe a JRSC if one was found for very cheap.
Is there anyway I can purchase one without some of the equipment to make it as cheap as possible? Where would one go to purchase a kit with minus parts?

Also, if it has been covered before (couldnt find in search) Which SC offers the best Torque values? Also, which has coolest air intake properties?
Thanks in advance..

Well, the Vortech has more torque but costs more money.
You can find a new JRSC for about $2500 these days. Cheaper used for around $1500-2000.
The JRSC can be made to have more power but a pully kit, injectors and some tuning will be required.
The Vortech also requires battery relocation to the front bumper, which some have said effects corner steering.

Great! What are so bad about JRSC's? Do the kits for the JRSC come with injectors or does it all run on stock? Im not sure which route to take.. I am looking for boost thats daily drivable for around 2,000.00

A Stock JRSC will get you about 150whp and about 130wTQ at I think 5-6psi.
You only get a black box for tuning that basically controls your fuel/injector duty cycle.
For $2000+, that's just not enough for some people.
But, for extra cash, you can get a psi boost kit with a smaller pully, 70mm MAF and larger injectors that will allow you to push 7-9psi but now, you will require tuning for this additional psi/power to be used safely.
Usually when you start hitting around 9psi, you'll be required to cool off the intake manifold with some water injection. This can also be bought/made seperately when needed.
Some guy just recently posted a JRSC dyno at 9psi and no cooling and got 209whp/161wtq.
That's very impressive for a JRSC.

awsome.. What about the vortech tuning kit? What is that lacking?
