I know i have ask u this before, but just can't make my mind on this

The Downpipe is 2.5"
The Flexpipe is Factory - So i'm guessing 2.25"
The Cat-back is FocusSport - Sport editon the website said is a 2.25"

Now..

Q1. Should i put a 3" flexpipe for later when or if i ever change the cat-back to 3" or go with a 2.5" flexpipe and used it with existing cat-back 2.25"

Or

Q2. Should i change the whole thing to 3"

I don't think i might change the Cat-back yet.. since is 1 year old and is the ceramic coated one from focussport. but if i have to, I'm just have to save up.

With out a doubt the 3 inch is the way to go

Hey Tom, for the ATX, what components would be needed to convert everything to a 3" exhaust system? I'm really interested in getting a turbo, and I want to put on some upgrades before I get it. So I don't wanna get anything that would conflict. Where would a good place to get those items also be? Thanks in advance Tom [thumb]

Truebends is the only place i know of for the 3 inch Exh . Or your local muffler shop

I have it on mine and Tom is doing the ORP and flex in 3" for me. If you get the trubendz exhaust don't try to put it on yourself, its a MAJOR pain in the ASS because there is always something not done right that will need to be altered.

Well i notice in the trubendz website it says ,, this is not a bolt-on..

03OrangeSVT... how does it sounds with the borla.. can you record the sound of it.... i don't want it too loud or too quiet,, but neither i want it to sound like an CRX.... if you know what i mean...

I like the sound of the focussport, but they don't make a 3" one... so i'm going to have to upgrade later on... so for now i'm going to get the Trubendz 2.5 stainless steel,, and down the road i will change everything including the down pipe to 3"

I can't record it right now since it is at Tom's, BUT I can tell you I heard Liltrbo's car with 3" from the downpipe back and it sounded great[thumb] It was ALMOST as quiet as stock, quiet enough that you could hear the turbo spool inside the car[driving]

Dont forget the turbo itself helps quiet down the exhaust also.
