: SVT Procharger?

I have a JRSC with a 9lb. pulley, water inj., and 42lb. waiting to be installed when it gets warm but I'm still thinking about getting the Procharger kit. Does anybody know when it comes out and how much it'll cost??[thumb]

Its out now. Just get the tuner kit (I think it's all they offer for the SVTF's anyhoo). Then get MAF, 42# Injectors, and an SCT Tune. Give me a call tommorow, I'll see what I can do for you. I'll go more into detail about the kit, etc.

What website can I go to in order to get more info on the SVTF Procharger? What's the Price?
Also, what kind of numbers are expected for the SVTF? And what is the reliability of this system?

Says about 8psi. Hp depends on tuning really...
I'll make some calls and try to get as much info for you..
As far as gains, looks like 60-65% gains @ 8 psi.
Also, if you have the SCT, we'll have to write a tune for the Procharger..I'm almost positive we have one though. The MAF is easy..

ESSVEETEE Is selling his WHOLE tuner kit. From his SVT. It was never installed. He has some extras too i believe. Check with him.

does anyone have any whp and wtq numbers for that kit? Is it a better kit than the Vortech?

I bet that kit run's 4 or 5 grand. Most of us can only dream of being able to get something like that because their so cost prohibative!! I wonder what the mark-up is on something like that to retail customers vs. wholesale vs. dealer price vs. jobber price etc....

The ProCharger kit is more of a bolt-on like the JRSC, as opposed to the Vortec that needs to tap the block for oil, yes? I'm asking, not telling.
I want something I can bolt on myself like the JRSC, but with more power like the Vortec. This just may be the answer.
Could I be so lucky?[pray]

svt170 that is my situation as well, except for I already ahve the JRSC with a pulley,water injection,42#, but I haven't installed them casue of the weather and now I'm thingking about the procharger since it doesn't use a shaft from the belts to drive the blower

SO we are talking about around 275-280 HP and 240 TQ? Is this kit reliable? I know ATI has a good reputation but I always am hesitant.

I would guess closer to 245-260 at the wheels and over 200 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. But I'm not an expert nor do I work for the company so...??? Anyway I'm thinking about selling my JRSC w/9# pulley,waterinjection,that I have yet to install and picking one of these badboys up!! More power and no cooling issue to worry about. Also if I ever build the internals I believe these blowers are capable of 20psi. That would make an SVT go!

ATI is a better charger than the Vortech, but if I'm not mistaken the rebuild parts are more expensive. I have a friend who has one on a V8- been there for 5 years, no problems, but he doesn't drive it much. He's afraid of getting caught out in the rain[hihi]
The ATI site has a lot of info--- but pay close attention. The featured Foci there have some kind of exhaust also, and 4.06 gears which cause an increase in WHP also. The Vortech is rated as it is on an obviously stock motor. I've also read that the intercooler is mounted lowish, and I'd like to see someone's clever fix for that.
I'm not trying to put down the ATI, just sharing my thoughts.

That kit is sweet, from the picture it doesn't look like your going to have problems installing it. There's a dealer by my house so I am just going to check on them...good catch

I got my Pro Charger kit for $4200 CDN so thats about $3800 US....Satin finish and for Zetec.

tuner kit just means you have to supply tuning.
