So lets see if you can figure out what I actually changed in these pics... besides the sky, (that's obvious!).

all i can see is the sunglare taken off from the bottom left side of the pic, and the cleaned up side of your car.
Nice looking photo though!

yeah, it's pretty much just that, and I took out the powerlines and smoothed up the mountains a bit, I have other pics that I'll probably mess around with some other time.

umm.. okay... got it.
maybe try playing with the contrast of the orig photo... cuz that vibrant color totally mutes the actual image color.

yeah, I'll mess around with it a little more later on. what I really wanted to do was get the red skies reflection in the car, but I have yet to find out how to do that. I'll keep trying though and hopefully I can make it look sweet.

just a tip... you're better off masking off the sky and adding an overlay ontop of it to change the color, rather than just painting your own gradient over it.
that way you keep the "natural" color gradient.
makes it stick out less.
kinda like this:

throwing the reflection onto the car is definately alot trickier... you'll have to find a tutorial about that. Since i'm not really sure and don't really have the time to figure it out ATM.
coloring the glares to match the sky is pretty easy, its replacing that blue sky tint in the windows and that blue sky reflection (+dude with camera ;) in the rear corner that get a bit harder.

I tried to tackle the reflection thing...I think it worked out nicely[:)] I changed the contrast a bit too.

Changes were too minor to even notice but good work on the follow-up PSing.
