[welcome] Cy..........the Focus comes with 5X7/6X8. I installed aftermarket 5X7's in mine, but from what I understand a lil nip and tuck and you can fit 6X9's no problem. Most shops can do anything you want them to do, and I can't imagine them chargin you more than a couple extra bucks to fit the 6x9's in. Ask your locl place, or I'm sure some peeps on here that have 6X9's installed will respond and give you a lil more accurate info. Post some pics of your ride too!

ya got a Zetec engine. SPI's are found in the lx models and in the se model, unless you get the higher level SE like I do, then you get a Zetec. Point being, you got a ZX3 which means you got a Zetec.

The base engine in the ZX3 is the Zetec. I don't think that you can even special order an SPI for the ZX3.

92 laser AWD. I loved that car but it was getting alot of rust and such on it. and I'm not looking for a high powered sports car though the awd was awesome in the winter.
I really like this car and i went outside and your right it says ztec right on it :)

Unless he got the car from Canada. They put SPIs in base model hatches up there.

How are the 6x9's put in? is it just wood or particle that they're held in, or is it steel? Just wondering how hard this will be for the place to do, also I don't want to have to much damage just in case I blow my speakers and need replacements and then not be able to have them installed without ford fixing stuff
