Yea I did this "mod" a while ago. comes in handy alot because I think I used to hit the button twice too fast so it wouldnt open all the doors, so now I just hit it once and they all open, no more "Its cold unlock my damn door!" complaints, lol

I've changed mine over to that too, I love it- it's the little things, really.

I always forgot to hit the button twice, or I'd hit it too quickly and it wouldn't acknowledge the 2nd time, so my passenger would be standing there and me thinking their door was unlocked when it wasn't.

If people would only READ! their owners manual. This information, along with other useful tidbits are yours for the reading.

Same here, I never noticed it.. I read that thing cover to cover when I first got my car.. played with everything.

It's in my manual. I would suggest for the women on the forum to leave the feature as a push twice to unlock the other doors. I always worry about stalkers jumping in the car with an unsuspecting woman in a parking lot. Just safer that way.

thats cool to know, cause i always get the same too, "open my door", and stuff....but yeah i never read that in the manual and i read the whole thing over.

i had the whole push twice thing taken off when i put my alarm in, it just seemed more a hassle than anything
