the inside of tires are wearing down to the cords in about 6k you can see the tips of the tires are tipped in

what i have done

replaced every bushing in the rear and new shocks

alignment--- but when they do that they take weight off car

no broken pieces all looks good

could my springs be shot


when i drive on slick surface like snow ice the back end is all over the place

Take it someplace else and have the alignment checked

How are they aligning the car by taking weight off it? Vehicles should be aligned as they sit naturally.

All Foci I have dealt with seem to have this type of stance (tipped in on the rear) and wear slightly in the same way. That said, it sounds like yours are wearing much faster than they should be and I would also recommend getting an alinement somewhere else or even check it yourself.

Can you share any settings from your last alignment (printout etc.)? Your alignment numbers will help a lot in diagnosing your problems (please remember to make distinctions between degrees or inches when applicable if you them).

Even minimal amounts of negative rear camber are readily visible. You can't make conclusion that there's too much negative camber based on looks alone.

There are adjustable rear camber arms. They are not cheap, but they fixed the problem. 200K on my lowered wagon. also look here.
