The brace is for handling and chassis flex. This is supposed to reduce wheel hop and increase traction.

I thought of that yrs ago & asked on focal jet w/ no direct answer. I went w/ cfm's arms instead. I believe they'll work better on a d-tech, being no issues w/ a header. The rad. support is beefer then the cheap oem one. You'll need to drill a couple of holes in the cradle, whiz bang off a couple of rivets off both ball joints. Making sure you have the threads going the right way. I like to set the bars up where you turn both of them going the same way.Be interesting to see you add this mod. Let me know how this goes, huh. The one for the foci's are better than the honda's.

I didn't see CFM offering a trac bar. Only the subframe brace. Could you point me toward it as I enjoy working with CFM parts

CFM doesn't have any traction bars. Only traction related is their lower control arms.

I replaced the fwerks 2 pointer w/ cfm's 4 pointer. It stiffens up the open area by tying the open area of the cradle w/ 2 more braces that tie the rear of the cradle.
