and my initial reaction was "Wow, what a nice interior!" and "Whoa, that's not as much headroom as I thought it'd have." The slant of the front windsheild also took me by surprise. Felt that my face was much closer to the glass than I was used to.

Any taller people have any thoughts on this, or am I just being overally nitpicky? :)

How tall are you anyways?

well for headroom, there is a crank on the side of the seat that should raise and lower the seat, so it might have just been set really high.
As for the windshield, are you saying its too vertical? if thats the case, then yeah it is a little steeper then some, but you'll get used to it.

Well im like 6 foot 2 and i dont really have ne problem, although i lowered my seat alittle, but i only did that to get a better view through my rear view mirro, the head room is fine. Try lower the seat a bit. Good luck

oh yeah and my bro has a 01 se and is 6,4 and is fine.

Anyways, I just rolled my seat down low I find it very comfy. Nice little car. ;)

Only thing that bugs me is that darn little center flip down storage thinggy, where I put my wallet and stuff. I wish I could move it forward a bit, so I could put my elbow there when im driving. But its hardly anything to be sad over. [:)~]

LOL. My husband is 5'11" and has absolutley NO problems sitting or getting in or out of the car. You should be fine[;)]

6 foot even and have no issues. Getting in and out took a little while to get used, especially going from a lifted 4x4. Other than that its a comfy great little car.

yes mine does, factory.

No sunroof, just a standard SE.

I'm 6"2 -- and didn't know you could raise or lower the seat vertically. Never had that option in a car before. :)

Oh well, I still bump my head on wacco scaffold so im tall ... eh shoot. It was cool when I was a 6th grader but ur right, im in denial.

I am 6 foot and sit comfortablely in the front, but the back is another story.... I had a 96civic 4dr, it has more leg room in the rear than a focus, damn!
