Car is almost a year old... I always seem to rush through car buying and not get every question answered before I sign and drive away....

Sticker price was $23,760

$2,000 down
$2,600 trade in
$1,235.90 in sales tax
$1,240 for the Extended Service Plan
$291.50 filing fee
$75.00 fee to the dealership (document administative fee)

Financed $19548.60

So, just looked over the whole set of papers and can't find anything saying a discount was given for the A-plan. Does everything look right?

Well your totals would have been $22,002 or so. if you actually financed $19548. then they
'magically' cut out $2,450. which i would be guessing is the A-plan discount [race]

Take a look at your 'retail installment contract' or your buyer's order. One or the other should show the actual sales price they charged you (usually line 1 in the itemization section). I'd think your discount would be the difference between that and the sticker price.

Oh, I never thought of it and added it up like that. Just looking for an actual discount number. Haha. Well I can say that is quite good then. That's a lot of money off a 23k car. Thanks Elizabeth.
