Is there a good Alternator re-builder? Wanted to call up and see how much a rebuild of my alternator would be. Since I have the motor all out and apart and still rocking the stock alt after 165+k miles on it I don't want to get it all put in and then find out in 1-2 months I need to pull it and replace it.

not to mention it is easier to worry about it now than when I am depending on it as my DD again.

well I don't know of someone that could rebuild an alternator. But I know that cfm sells one with more output that's a direct replacement
