I calmly rest my left foot, so no problem for me, but I just can't stop my hand from grabbing the shifter on acceleration/deceleration :P

yes. When I had my MS3 I used to drive my moms van sometimes...I would try to put the brake pedal all the way to the floor...lol

yeah,my focus is my daily driver, but I drive my f150 every couple of weeks when something needs hauled. I always try to reach for the shifter to downshift or the clutch pedal before I hit the brake.

Slammed my foot down in so many cars in work looking for it

What's worse is when you throw an automatic out of gear on accident...lol

I drive a work truck that is an auto, and I look for the clutch pedal probably half of the time... Lol

I bought a Focus that was manual back in July and so I had to learn fast how to drive it because it is my commute car. So even though I have only been driving a clutch for about a month I find myself doing just that in our other car, the Flex, that is automatic. What scary is that the E-brake for the automatic is in the same location as the clutch so I need to be really careful and cognizant about that.

No, but if I'm a column shift automatic I'll grab air going for a console shifter.

I haven't had issues with the clutch, but I regularly miss the turn signal stalk in my Grand Prix since it's placed slightly off compared to the Focus'.

My truck and my wife's car are both automatics. Sometimes I still stall my Focus. [:I]

When to turn into advance auto in my dads jeep just yesterday... I attempted to do this:

> Slow down
> push in clutch
> drop to second
> turn in

Thanks to automatics having such wide brake pettles when I pushed the 'clutch' in it was quite a surprise when I came to a sudden jerk of a stop...

I did this driving my parents new escape the other day. All my cars are manual, so I very rarely drive an automatic. I do it almost every time I get in one.
