: got a question in regards to ebay
sgtsmasher 08-27-2012, 10:16 PM so i found these,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-XXR-WHEELS-006-RIM-4X108-ACCORD-PRELUDE-FORD-FOCUS-/330783319951?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0438e78f&vxp=mtr#ht_3978wt_1344
and i really like them but am unsure because when i go to select the vehicle type and all that nice jazz, it says that the zx3 focus it will not fit, WHY?
can someone check out the link and get back to me on this, i have a guy waiting to buy the current wheels i have now and i would then need replacements fast with the money for these, tanks
1hotfocus 08-27-2012, 10:19 PM In short, those rims should fit fine. Don't go by eBay's fitment help, they're always wrong.

sgtsmasher 08-27-2012, 10:33 PM thats what i thought but wasnt sure, does anyone else have any input, like good deal, nice wheels, idk lol. they are going on a silver zx3 if that helps, so far my theme on the outside of the car is silver and black so i think these will work. does anyone know if i will have rubbing issues if i put a size 205/40/17 with the offset. i just really dont know all that much about offset, someone wanna school me lol
1hotfocus 08-27-2012, 11:34 PM I like the wheels and should look great with the silver!
The lower the offset, the more the rim sticks out. Lower number=wheel sticks out more. The wheels you want should be within the 38-49 offset range. You should not rub, especially with a 205 width. Good luck!

rambleon84 08-28-2012, 08:37 AM To keep your overall tire diameter the same, you may want to go with a 215/45 or 205/45, not a 40 series tire. Unless you are looking for a shorter sidewall.
sgtsmasher 08-28-2012, 12:58 PM Yea thats what im going for is shoter side wall, cause right now what im riding on are 17x9 wheels witha 205/40/17 and those are nitto tires and they are holding up really well being stretched that much so im looking to get the same tires plus i know a guy who knows a guy that can get them really cheap, so that what i want
sgtsmasher 08-31-2012, 04:53 PM need to add a question here....im looking at a set of wheels that are 16x7 with an offset of +18, would that be super goofy looking ill post a link for them, and if you read above i had 17x9 offset of +24, could anyone give me some insight weather it would look good or not...

sgtsmasher 08-31-2012, 06:01 PM also to add to the above question, would 16" wheels fit over the big brakes from an svt???
sgtsmasher 08-31-2012, 09:15 PM wow there is nobody on tonight to give me any feed back
BLRich1 08-31-2012, 09:58 PM A 16" will fit over the brakes in most cases however a +18 offset is extremely aggressive.
sgtsmasher 09-04-2012, 08:39 AM right it is but on 7" wide wheel, it shouldnt be that bad, cant be any worse then a 9" wide wheel that i currently have/had can it?
sgtsmasher 09-05-2012, 04:27 PM can anyone shed some light on the last question i asked please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
